Nancy Mercado is the editor of the Nuyorican Women Writers Anthology published in Voices e/Magazine, the Center for Puerto Rican Studies, Hunter College- CUNY; an online literary journal. She is a guest curator for the Museum of American Poetics and assistant editor for; a web site dedicated to addressing the issue of climate crises. A writer, editor, activist and educator, Mercado was featured on National Public Radio’s The Talk of the Nation, and the PBS NewsHour Special: America Remembers 9/11. Also featured in The Encyclopedia of Hispanic American Literature (Facts on File) and inducted into The Museum of American Poetics, she is profiled in Latino Leaders Magazine, as “one of the most celebrated members of the Puerto Rica n literary movement in the Big Apple.”

Danny Shot was longtime publisher and editor of Long Shot arts and literary magazine, which he founded along with Eliot Katz in 1982 in New Brunswick, NJ. He has spent over the past 30 years as a New York City high school English teacher in the South Bronx, Harlem and Brooklyn. Mr. Shot lives in Hoboken, NJ (home of Frank Sinatra and baseball) where he happens to be the poet-in-residence of the Hoboken Museum. His book of poems WORKS, will be published by CavanKerry Press in early 2018.

Pete Mc2 is poet hailing out of Long island, NY who’s work explores finding ground in vulnerability amongst extraordinary absurdity. He’s best known as the current torch bearer of the Muse, Long island’s hotspot for poets, creatives and weirdos. His new book the edge of an observable universe is currently yellowing on a curb somewhere.
