Oliver Baer does many things. His poetry has been published in Boog City, Horror Writers Association Poetry Showcase Vol. II, Bare Bones #8, Dream People, Horror Between the Sheets, and Cthulhu Sex Magazine. His book of poetry, Baer Soul, was published in 2011. His CD of poetry set to music, Gathering Souls. was released in 2013. This spawned a biannual poetry set to music show, A Conclaeve of Baer, in Sidewalk Café. He has also been known to haunt certain East Village open mikes.

James McMenamin is a long time open miker whose work has been published in Nomad’s Choir, Mobius, Performance Poets, Brownstone’s Anthology, and an upcoming Love/Hate journal. He is a member of the short poem inspired group Brevitas, and continues to experiment with words and explore new themes. He is a lifelong resident of Queens, and works with newcomers at Queens Library, whose student works have been showcased yearly in Symphony Space’s All Write Journal and NYU’s Literacy Review. This year marks his twentieth reading at various venues in NYC.
