kiss:punch:poem carnival April 11th, 8:30

by Thomas Fucaloro on April 10, 2012

As many of you know I have been performing with a poetry/improv group and we are holding a carnival in a bar to help raise funds for us to perform 4 nights in Chicago at the end of the month.  For those who don’t know, Kiss:Punch:Poem is a show that we do on the last sunday of every month where in a poet performs their poem and then improvers come up with scenes based on that poem.  This new venture has been so successful that we are trying to go across the country with it.  We did some great dates in Boston and we are looking for even greater things from our Chicago shows.  So tomorrow, April 11th at 8:30 we will be holding a carnival at Mustang Sally’s on 324 7th st.  Here’s what to expect: freak shows, tarot readings, face painting, dance party, dinosaur impressions, kissing booths, poeming booths, punching booths, massage booths, raffles, auctions and poetry brothel whores.  Oh my it is going to be a fun night indeed.
