Gabriel Don received her MFA in creative writing at The New School, where she worked as the Reading Series and Chapbook Competition Coordinator. Her writing has appeared in publications such as The Brooklyn Rail, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Understanding Between Foxes and Light, A Minor, Westerly, Mascara Literary Review, Post-Paper, The Legendary, Transtierros (translated into Spanish), Gargoyle 62, LiveMag! 12, Lakeview International Journal of Literature and Arts, Stato Rec, The Seventh Wave, The Unbearables' From Somewhere to Nowhere; the End of the American Dream, Brownstone Poets, and Maintentant 9. Her short stories are forthcoming in publications such as Local Knowledge. She has appeared in visual poems such as Woman Without Umbrella and Unbound, started several reading-soiree series, worked as an editor on publications such as LIT and received press for her work including 3am magazine, Antipodes Journal, Quiet Lunch, Let Them Talk, Art Loves Her, Yes Poetry! and Great Weather for MEDIA. Although Don grew up in Australia, Dubai and Singapore, she currently resides in New York City where she teaches writing at BMCC and Pace.
Mark Johnson has been a reader and writer since the age of five when, with his mother’s help, he put together several little illustrated books including Mark & Scott and the Big Mountain and Planet X. He has produced poetry, haiku, short fiction, memoirs and essays, some of which have been published in Cicada, Radiation From Space, Dragonfly. and various online Ezines. Mark has been an active member of the online writing group, “Brevitas” for the past three years.
