Devin Devine is a writer, comedian, and performer from Spokane, Washington. One of the organizers for Spokane Poetry Slam and a member of Spokane's 2015, 2017, and 2018 National Poetry Slam teams. She laughs and writes her way through issues of mental health, sexuality, recovery, and love. She is the author of three self-published chapbooks Feral Empathy, Crying on the Toilet, and her most recent Domestic & Fowl. She is also currently writing and self-publishing crime series Kiss the Messenger with partner and co-author Tony Russell. This fall she will be pursuing her MFA in Poetry at Eastern Washington University.
Artist and poet Erica Mapp, originally from Trinidad, lives in New York City. She received a BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art in New York and a MA in Art Education from New York University’s School of Education. She is seeking publication for a poetry manuscript based on the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, and a manuscript of poems about the urgent need to preserve the Caribbean rainforest. She is a Cave Canem Fellow, and in summer 2017 received a Walker Scholarship from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA. Her work has been published both nationally and abroad in anthologies and periodicals including The Caribbean Writer, The Brownstone Poets Anthology, the Riverside Poets Anthology, and Brevitas.
