Vanessa Chica is a New York City Educator, Writer and Performance Poet. A lover and supporter of all things creative, she began to share her poetry in 2013, at the Poets Passage in San Juan Puerto Rico. This frightening yet liberating decision has led to a whirlwind of creative endevours.  Vanessa Chica has featured at various events such as The Smokin Word, Urban Juke Joint, Capicu, Word@4F, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe and The Bronx Museum. She has performed At The National Black Theatre in poetic theatrical shows " From the Page to the Stage", "Misconceptions" and Misconceptions too" produced in part by The Sunday Writing Circle/ The Full Circle Ensemble.  She was a panelist for " Mujeres at the Mic" Bringing the Nuyorican experience, at The Association of Writers held in Los Angeles (2016). Karina G-Lopez, is an author, writer, poet, performer and educator from New York City. She is also a poetry judge, workshop facilitator and marketer as well. She has been writing, reading, performing and acting since high school. She has featured in various venues including: The National Black Theater, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Queens Book Festival, The Bronx Museum, Capicu, among many others places. She has obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from The City College in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Publishing. Rebeca Lois Lucret is a writer, poet, and former contributing writer for Blacktino.net. She has featured at various NYC venues, some of which include the Q-Boro Lit Crawl 2016, Lit Crawl Brooklyn 2014, The Glitter Pomegranate Performance Series, the Smokin' Word Open Mic series, great weather for MEDIA, the Urban Juke Joint, Travesías Urbanas/Urban Crossings Poetry Reading, was a key member of the internationally known world fusion band Machete Movement and a featured artist in the Full Circle Ensemble's sold out show "From the Page to the Stage" at the National Black Theatre in Harlem. Some of her latest poems can be found in Ty(po-e:tic)us Literary Journal, Centro Voices: Letras, The BX Files anthology benefiting El Fogon, Contemporary Haibun Online (CHO) Lit Journal, and The Abuela Stories Project anthology. She is currently working on her memoir, Dandelion Strands.
