MTK born, raised and still lives in the South Bronx. She has been writing for many, many years. She has been featured, hosted and has produced events from 2010 to the present throughout the tri-state area. She published her first poetry book in 2010 called Eyez of the Sister. Presently she is the MC, the 1st Monday of every month, at Harlem’s Landmark “Nama” located at 107 West 130th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem New York.

Gene Myers is a reporter for USA Today newspapers. His poetry credits include: a broadside by Joshua Beckman’s 811 Books, Tiferet, Frogpond, The Rutherford Red Wheelbarrow Anthology, Poets of the Palisades, Disco Prairie Social Aid & Pleasure Club by Factory Hollow Press, and the Irish Haiku Society’s Shamrock Journal.

Francine Witte is the author of four poetry chapbook, one full-length collection, and the forthcoming, Theory of Flesh from Kelsay Books. Her flash fiction has appeared in numerous journals, anthologized in the most recent New Micro (W.W. Norton) and her novella-in-flash, The Way of the Wind is forthcoming from Ad Hoc Fiction, as well as a full-length collection of flash fiction, Dressed All Wrong for This which is forthcoming from Blue Light Press. She lives in New York City, USA.
