Brandon Areizaga is a poet born and raised in Brooklyn. His father got him into poetry at seventeen, helping Brandon use it as an outlet to handle much of his teen angst. Writing became something that flowed smoothly for him and helped to express his emotions toward situations that he had difficulty with. Brandon has been writing and performing, and only looks to perform more, feature more and ultimately put out a book or album of his pieces from throughout the years.
Taino Brigs is a Nuyorican poet and author, born and raised in New York City's Lower East Side. Alumni of Manhattan's prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Taino for a brief time lived in The Bronx, where he fell in love with the art of spoken word. Currently residing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and is a 4th-grade Catholic school teacher. He is the father of two young men, 20 years old and 4 years old. Taino recently published his memoir, GIVE MY REGARDS, out on Amazon.com, or wherever books are sold.
Corey Gonzalez is a Puerto Rican Bronx native. A regular attendee of the poetry scene, he has featured for InspiredWord NYC, competed in and won slams at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and Green Earth Poets Cafe, and is a regular performer at the Bowery Poetry Club. Corey's poetry centers on his battle with drug addiction and depression, heartbreak, estranged familial relationships, and the concentration camps holding LatinX refugees.
