Scott Pleasants is a creative living in Teaneck, New Jersey, and originally from the Bronx, New York. Sometimes expressing his thoughts through the lens of a 30-year transportation professional and U.S. Air Force Veteran, Scott is a published poetry author who allows his words to rhythmically tell the stories of our journeys. He is a long-time community advocate and volunteer who has been recognized on the state and local levels. He sometimes allows this work to shape his thoughts by uniquely transferring these experiences to words. Scott has performed his poetry at local open mics and since the pandemic, he has been a regular performer at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, as well as many other online and selective NYC in-person venues. His recent poetry publications are included within the anthology Love Letters to Gaia and a virtual collection The Puffin Cultural Forum, Election 2020. His poetry book After Thoughts which is co-authored with Nathan Ramos, can be found on Amazon, along with his most recent publication of inspirational thoughts, Everyday Can Be A Sunny Day.
