Giavonna Dupree is an educator and spoken word artist originating from Philly. Currently residing in Bermuda, giadelphia started writing poetry and performing her work with the hip hop trio G.E.D while living in Bangkok, Thailand. She continued to write and perform while working in Southeast Asia and later in Staten Island, NY, where she also served as a public school teacher and an editor for NYSAI Magazine. Most of her work focuses on positive messaging, consciousness and a variety of social ills; topics she also encourages her students to explore as a middle school special education teacher.
