Merisdy Florexile is an educator, poet, and literary artist from Brooklyn, New York. Her recently self-published chapbook, Mimosas & Wafers Poetry Collection, focuses on subject matters encompassing the human experience. Her short, incisive literary artistry style can be described as a marriage of lyricism and visual media. Merisdy launched her poetry and philosophy blog, Merisdyologyx.com in 2012. Her poetry has been featured in the great weather for MEDIA anthology, Suitcase of Chrysanthemums. She is a member of the writing community, Freeeedom Tour: Black Gyrl Collective.
