Chime Lama is a Tibetan American writer, translator, and multi-genre artist based in New York. She holds an MA in Divinity from the University of Chicago and an MFA in Poetry from the City University of New York: Brooklyn College. She served as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Brooklyn Review and is currently the Poetry Editor of Yeshe: A Journal of Tibetan Literature, Arts and Humanities. Experimenting with form and technique, she creates visually dynamic literary art. She has won the 2020 Himan Brown Award in Creative Writing and the 2021 Bonnie Perlsweig Mintz Award in Editing. Her work has been featured in Exposition Review, The Margins, Stonecoast Review, Street Cake, Volume Poetry, Tribes Magazine, Tricycle, Asymptote, and the latest great weather for MEDIA anthology Paper Teller Diorama, among others.
