Jen Fitzgerald is a native New Yorker, poet, photographer, and essayist who received her MFA in Poetry from Lesley University. Her collection The Art of Work (Noemi Press 2016) documents the working lives of UFCW Union Members and the realities of the meat-cutting industry. She teaches writing to incarcerated youth on Rikers Island. Her work has been featured in such venues as PBS Newshour, Boston Review, The Nation, and Tin House among others.

melissa christine goodrum is the editor of four print anthologies and the author of two full-length poetry collections: definitions uprising (NY Quarterly Press) and something sweet & filled with blood (great weather for MEDIA). Her poetic experiences include Guest Editor of Pedestal Magazine #88, Poetry Workshop Leader for the Safe Return Project, Writing Teacher at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Administrative Director of Bowery Arts & Science, Pushcart Nominee, and the recipient of a Zora Neale Hurston Award from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University.
