Kelechi Ubozoh is a Nigerian-American writer and mental health advocate who blends the reality of trauma, race, and mental health into her writing. Her story of surviving a suicide attempt and turning to advocacy is featured in The S Word documentary, O, The Oprah Magazine and CBS This Morning with Gayle King. Her book with LD Green, We’ve Been Too Patient, elevates marginalized voices of lived experience who have endured psychiatric mistreatment and is now featured in curriculum at Boston University, New York University, and Cal State East Bay. Her work is featured in Argot Magazine, Multiplicity, Endangered Species, Enduring Values, Essential Truths, and the forthcoming anthology Trauma, Tresses, & Truth: Untangling Our Hair Through Personal Narrative.
