Peter Bushyeager’s poetry has appeared in journals that include New American Writing, Sensitive Skin, Boog City, Brooklyn Rail, Live Mag, and Hurricane Review.  Eight poems from his Platitudes sequence will be featured in the next issue of Local Knowledge, and the poem “Citadel Luncheonette,” from his collection of the same name, was recently a Best American Poetry “Pick of the Week.” Peter lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.

Sophie Malleret writes/performs in English/French. Read her poetry at Howl Festival, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Café, Reuben Foundation, Cornelia Café, NY Public Library, The William Carlos Williams Center in NJ, Amherst Library, Woodstock festival, Art fairs, galleries. Readings/poetry festivals throughout Europe (Paris, Berlin, Prague, Brussels, The Netherlands, the U.K...). Collaboration with musicians. Curated poetry reading series in NY at Vivaldi Café, Molly Krom Gallery, La Guardia Community Gardens, Women’s readings for Women’s month. Involved in film/theatre. Made a film of the Women’s reading she produced in 2018 The Care Persists II, aired on MNN channels. Sane in the city, her first documentary, screened at MegaCities-ShortDocs festival 2021 in Paris. Poems published by Three Room Press, great weather for MEDIA, issues of Vlak, AiOP. Happy to read for this reading series again.
