Rana Bitar is a Syrian-American physician, poet, and writer. She earned her Master’s in English and Creative Writing from SNHU. She is the author of two poetry chapbooks, A Loaf of Bread (Unsolicited Press, 2019) and Hold Your Breath (Unsolicited Press, 2023), and a memoir, The Long Tale of Tears and Smiles (Global Collective Publishers, August 2021). Her poetry, essays, and translation of Arabic poetry appeared in many journals, including The American Journal of Poetry, The Nonconformist, Illuminations, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, The Pharos Journal, Med Page, Pink Panther Magazine, New York Times, and AGNI. Stay tuned for the future publication of her work in progress: two poetry books, The Voices We Can’t Hear and Migration; translated Arabic poetry, Love and Resistance; and a novella, God Only Forgives The Mighty.

Inmaculada Lara Bonilla is a writer and editor, a poet and an essayist. As a poet, she is the author of the collection of poems decir bóveda (Editorial Juglar, 2022) (translates roughly as 'say vault'), translated into Arabic and published by Virgule Editions in 2023. Her poetry, originally written in English and Spanish, has been included in anthologies such as Luna y panorama en los rascacielos (New York 2019, Madrid 2021), Viento del norte. Anthology of Hispanic Poets in New York (Madrid, 2021), From the Inside: NYC Through The Eyes Of The Poets Who Live Here (San Francisco, 2022), and Poetry Fighters (Seville & Mexico, 2022) and published in international magazines such as Stone Canoe, Literal Magazine, ViceVersa, Enclave, Literary Hybrid, New York Poetry Review, and Home Planet News. As a guest poet, she has presented her work at events and institutions such as The New York Public Library, Instituto Cervantes de York, American Association of Writers and Writers Programs (Philadelphia), Ateneo de Caracas (Jamming Poético), Cajamarca Book Fair (Peru) , The Bowery Poetry Club (New York), Graduate Center at The City University of New York, and Librería Juan Rulfo of the Fondo de Cultura Económica de México in Madrid, New York Poetry Festival, and the Tetouan House of Poetry (Morocco) , among other cultural venues.
