Jenny Pisani is a multidisciplinary artist and educator from Staten Island, New York. She has called many places home, yet always returns to pray at the temple of poetry. Jenny is driven by the magic of the written and spoken word and teaches from this place, as a teaching artist and citizen of the world.

Michael Whalen is a Greenpoint, Brooklyn-based poet, editor and proofreader. He is the host of the reading series Poetry on the Patio and has organized readings for Other Rooms and Urbantgarde as well as many other poetry events and open mics. He’s also the co-founder and co-editor of Other Rooms Press, an online journal and chapbook publisher.
