Buttered Roll: Ten-Minute Live Reading

Buttered Roll (he/his/him) is a Colombian-born, self-taught, poet, painter, performer and not-so-complex carbohydrate who resides in Hoboken, NJ. He has been faithfully reading and rearranging the written word since he was in his teens. He has been painting with oils and acrylics for approximately 12 years. “Exile in Orange,” Buttered Roll’s first solo visual art show, took place at SMUSH Gallery, from March 2021, through early May 2021. Buttered Roll has self-published two books and donated 100% of the proceeds to the Hoboken Homeless Shelter.  Buttered Roll’s writing has been published in Soup Can Magazine, Nuance Journal from An Artist’s Duty Collective, The Aesthetic Apostle, and Breadcrumbs Magazine. Buttered Roll has a solo show opening May 6th, 2023 at Green Hive Studio entitled Buttered Roll and the Big Bad Drop.
