Patrick Lawler has published six books of poetry including Breathe a World, Feeding the Fear of The Earth, and Underground. In addition, he has two books of fiction: Rescuers of Skydivers Search Among the Clouds and The Meaning of If.  Several of his filmscripts have won awards and been featured at film festivals, including The Zeno Question and Giving Birth to a Butterfly.  He is Professor Emeritus at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Writer-in-Residence at Le Moyne College.
