C.O. Moed grew up on New York’s Lower East Side when it was still a tough neighborhood. An alum of the infamous WOW Cafe, her work has appeared in the Silver Tongued Devil Anthology, AWAKE: Reader for the Sleepless, MadHatters, Thorn Literary Magazine, Unexpected Stories, Sensitive Skin, and Inspirational Art Magazine. MY PRIVATE CONEY, her 10-year blog (2006-2016) about New York City has been featured in Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York, and excerpted in various online magazines and websites. IT WAS HER NEW YORK, true stories and big pictures about dementia, gentrification, undying love, old lesbians and family is being published by Rootstock on November 7.

Jack Powers is the author of two poetry collections: Everybody’s Vaguely Familiar (2018) and Still Love (2023). His poems have appeared in The Southern Review, Salamander, The Cortland Review, and elsewhere. He won the 2015 and 2012 Connecticut River Review Poetry Contests and was a finalist for the 2013 and 2014 Rattle Poetry Prizes. Visit his website.
