On each of those days three different groups of performers representing world nations and cultures will gather by zoom to share their work and directly demonstrate the power of the arts to join the world's people together. In all, a dozen international communities will present their work, representing regions of the US, UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Armenia, Georgia, South America, India and Korea.

'Poets practice looking at the world differently, and sometimes it takes the vision of poets to see the world in a new way," said Wallace. "For example, most people look at New York City and think 'city of towers', with all the positives and negatives which towers suggest -- towers that reach like Babel to the firmament of money or gods, icons of human accomplishment and aspiration. But if you look at it another way, a city is also a place of tunnels and bridges. This project tells the world to pause for a moment, forget gods and money and other aspirations – and let us busy ourselves together, building bridges to each other."
